THINGS TO KNOW

Impoundment Inquiries

We will provide impoundment details exclusively to the registered owner. If you are not the registered owner, we will verify If we have the vehicle only, then ask that the registered owner contact us for further information.

Verification of Identity and Ownership

  • When arriving at the impoundment lot, the owner or authorized representative must present valid identification and proof of ownership for the impounded vehicle.

  • Acceptable documents include:

  1. a valid driver's license or passport

  2. current vehicle registration

  3. a pre-existing insurance card or policy

  4. a physical title

  5. a payoff letter from your finance company.

  • We will not accept a bill of sale as proof of ownership. If you have a physical title, but it is not in your name, please let the office staff know in advance so we can verify it will be accepted before your arrival.

Payments and Charges

  • Prior to vehicle release, all outstanding fees, fines and charges related to the impoundment must be paid in full. This may include towing fees, storage charges, and any fines associated with the reason for impoundment.

  • Payment is only accepted in person.

  • Acceptable forms of payment include cash, credit card and debit card. All card transactions will incur an additional fee. Cards are only accepted from the registered owner or authorized representative.

  • Cash must be tendered in the exact amount due as staff cannot provide change.

Arrival At the Storage Facility

  • Vehicles are released by appointment only. Appointments for releases are scheduled 24 hours a day within a 3-hour window. A 15-minute grace period is provided for both parties’ arrival.

  • Missing an appointment without prior communication incurs a fee. Although punctuality is our aim, occasional delays due to unforeseen circumstances may occur. Please notify us if the staff is late by more than 15 minutes.

  • If you arrive at the storage facility without an appointment, please do not engage with staff that may be onsite, instead, contact the office at 704-999-5293.

  • A gate fee is applied for any vehicle retrieved between 9 PM and 9 AM.

  • ​Access to the property is granted exclusively to the registered owner or authorized representative; others must remain off-site.

  • Failure to comply with safety regulations may lead to appointment cancellation. 

Pull Out Fee

  • If your vehicle is not operational, you must arrange for an external tow truck company to retrieve it or make arrangements to work on it outside of the storage facility.

  • Working on vehicles within the lot is prohibited and outside tow truck companies are not permitted entry.

  • An additional fee will be charged if you cannot drive your vehicle out of our facility or if you do not have valid insurance.

Request For Staff Info, Management or Owner

  • The owner does not directly receive or respond to inquiries. All communication should be directed to on-shift staff members.

  • Management can be reached via email at customerservice@overtimetowing.com. Please ensure all relevant details are provided to facilitate a prompt response.

  • Personal names of staff members are not provided; instead, they are identified by individual employee ID numbers.

  • Information regarding the specific staff member who towed your vehicle will not be disclosed.
